Exploring the breathtaking open world while cobbling together a team of adventurers never feels stale, especially once you start digging more deeply into how you can build devastating combos around your crew’s individual abilities. You can play the majority of the game without ever feeling the need to open up your wallet, and better yet, Genshin Impact is a good game. Yes, some people hate on Genshin Impact because it’s brimming with lootboxes, but this is a gacha game done (mostly) right.
Genshin Impact was a hit from the second it landed, and it’s easy to see why-at first blush, it’s like an even-more-anime Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and unlike Nintendo’s Switch-only hit, you can play it on the PC, PlayStation, and mobile phones alike.
